Trauma Recovery and Resilience Coaching

I’m now offering trauma recover and resilience coaching sessions for individuals and families affected by the criminal legal system and/or the sex offender registry.

What is trauma recovery? Recovery from trauma involves the ability to successfully live in the present without being overwhelmed by thoughts and feelings from the past. Coping with the trauma of a natural or manmade disaster can present unique challenges—even if you weren’t directly involved in the event.

Living with a felony record or being placed on the sex offender registry is traumatic for most people involved. The collateral effects is widespread. From the inability to find decent employment, to rental housing rejection, justice-impacted individuals are subject to numerous roadblocks.

The Need For Private Coaching Is Real

For families and individuals living on the sex offender registry, private coaching is a much needed resource. In the United States, there are very few options for registrants and their families to find support and assistance. Though my private coaching is not a substitute for therapy or counseling, I help reduce negative aspects of your life including:

  • Shock, denial, or disbelief
  • Confusion, difficulty concentrating
  • Anger, irritability, mood swings
  • Anxiety and fear
  • Guilt, shame, self-blame
  • Withdrawing from others
  • Feeling sad or hopeless
  • Feeling disconnected or numb

Take Care Of Your Health

Following a trauma, you may want to withdraw from others, but isolation only makes things worse. If you want to feel more in control of your feelings and overall sense of being, please contact me for private, affordable coaching. Sessions are held on the phone or through zoom, whichever you prefer. Contact me today for a free consultation.
